Run small

I decided to size up on the pants and checked the sizing chart. I consistently wear an 18 in jeans. I ordered a 2x scrub pant and these barely fit. The legs are fine, but the waist is so tight I can barley get them up. I almost returned them but did not want baggy legs sizing up more. Disappointed as I have had these sets before- the embossed paw shirts, probably 8-10 years ago and the bottoms were better fitting.
